How to Apply

All applicants who fulfill the entry requirements will be invited to interview.

Demand for these courses can be heavy, so all candidates are advised to complete an application form and submit this, with the completed application tasks as soon as possible.

Interview


The interview takes around 90 minutes. The format is:

  1. Welcome and introductions
  2. A supervised unaided written task
  3. A short teaching task. Candidates will be asked to teach a short activity of no longer than 5 minutes (non-language related) to their group. Further details will be provided with interview invitations
  4. Group discussions of language topics (supplied at the interview)
  5. Course information and question and answer session.

During the interview, successful candidates will have demonstrated:

  • a high facility in spoken and written English
  • good interpersonal skills
  • the ability to contribute in a team situation
  • an understanding and awareness of student-centred learning and teaching.

Candidates will be informed if they are successful or not within one week of interview.

All applicants who meet the post-interview selection criteria will receive written approval of eligibility to enrol.
