The hairdressing pre trade programme is the right place to start if you want to work towards becoming a fully qualified hairdresser.
After completing the certificate you'll be in a good position to pick up paid employment as a hairdressing apprentice in a commercial hair salon.
Once fully qualified, hairdressing can offer exciting career opportunities including:
- National & international salon work
- Manage or own your own salon
- Styling for events e.g. weddings, balls
- Styling for fashion, theatre & films
