Diploma in Digital Video Post Production
Level: 6 - This comprehensive programme will help you develop a range of skills in digital video post production including digital acquisition, digital audio mixing, non-linear editing, animation, motion graphics, visual effects and compositing. You will be able to develop these skills within group and client-driven projects, as well as in a major individual project of your choice.
The New Zealand Broadcasting School’s Diploma in Digital Video Post Production (DVPP) is a one year, intensive programme that uses state of the art facilities to teach a wide range of skills and software involved with digital video production and post–production.
It concentrates on state-of-the-art project-based lab work in multimedia and audio/video post production to present theories and practices to familiarise students with the advanced aspects of the post production process.
The 36 week programme begins in late February or early March and runs over four terms.
Expert Tutors
Expert tutors and visiting professionals will provide you with the skills and knowledge to prepare you for the post-production industry. While most begin such work in entry level roles, such training will help your rapid progression to more advanced, high-skill opportunities that exist in your chosen post production area.

A range of industry professionals are invited to share their expertise and experience with the class, and provide insight into the current state of the post production industry in New Zealand.
