Drawing and Design
In this subject you'll be introduced to the elements and principles of visual language, and 2D and 3D media. You'll learn observational drawing and life drawing, and have a chance to experiment in a variety of media.
You'll learn the basics of painting, digital photography, printmaking and graphics.
3D SkillsYou'll acquire skills in workshop technology, modelling, casting, woodwork, and working with recycled materials.
Foundation HistoryYour chance to visit various local art and design organisations, and to extend your knowledge of how they function.
Digital Basics for Macintosh
An introduction to the Mac operating system. You'll learn basic word processing skills, and be introduced to Photoshop, so you can manipulate digital images.

Preparation for Academic Study 1 & 2
These courses will give you the various study skills you'll require to succeed in academic study, including exam techniques and essay writing.
You'll learn how to critically assess your own work, and how to select and present work for submission for further study.
In addition, if you're from a non-English speaking background, you will be tested to decide your best study options. You may be required to enrol for English language study credits in addition to the subjects listed above.
