The scholarship applies to secondary schools in the Canterbury region and nominees are selected by the high school principal.

Purpose:

  • To recognise overall excellence in secondary studies by senior students.
  • To improve the profile of Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
  • To expand CPIT’s activities which demonstrate our commitment to Canterbury secondary schools.
  • To improve understanding and appreciation of the range and standard of academic opportunities available at CPIT.

Eligibility

Scholarships must be taken up at the beginning of the year after the year of being awarded and is not transferable. The acceptance of the scholarship and the intention to take it up by the recipient must be notified to CPIT in writing.

Students must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.

How to apply

Recipients will be chosen by the CPIT scholarship panel. Nominations from the school principal should be sent to:
