Ideal for those interested in a career in helping people look good and feel great or as a pathway to higher education to gain a career in the beauty industry.
Certificate in Beauty Skills (Introductory) (Level 2) enables students to develop basic skills and knowledge of beauty treatments. A perfect pathway to further study in beauty therapy or hairdressing.

To complete this Certificate you are required to complete a minimum total of 44 credits. Please browse the guide below to view the course options currently available within this qualification.
To be a full time student you need to maintain a workload of 120 credits per year. We recommend you talk with us to ensure you choose electives to benefit your future career.
For entry applicants require at least 3 years secondary education and successful completion of 24 NCEA credits (Level 1).
- Applications from mature students (over 20 years) are welcome.

Students for whom English is their second language, an overall IELTS score of 5.5 (or an equivalent TOEFL score) is required unless otherwise stated.
This programme is not available to international students.
