To provide students with a comprehensive, theoretical and practical approach to technologies and protocols needed to design and implement a converged switched network.
Learning outcomes
- Describe specific requirements for implementing a switched network
- Perform and verify switch configuration tasks including remote access management
- Describe VLANs and configure VLANs, VTP and STP in a switched network
- Describe and configure Inter-VLAN routing
- Describe basic wireless concepts and configuring wireless LAN
- Identify and correct common network problems in a switched network
