One of the most important choices a student needs to make when coming to CPIT is where to live. Christchurch is a large city and offers a lot of options for you to consider. Students may decide to go Flatting, Private Board or for our International Students live in Homestay accommodation with a Christchurch family.
If you are an international student visiting New Zealand for the first time, we strongly recommend you apply for homestay accommodation. Not only does homestay provide a warm family environment with your own room and meals provided, it gives you the opportunity to assimilate into Christchurch and the New Zealand way of life by becoming part of a New Zealand family.
