Most CPIT staff are employed under the terms and conditions of the following collective agreements depending on their role. A number of staff are employed on individual agreements, either because the work they perform is not covered by a collective or they have chosen not to join a union (under NZ law you must be a union member to be covered by a collective employment agreement). The terms and conditions of employment are, in general, similar to the relevant collective that covers the work being undertaken by union members doing similar work but are not the same.
Allied Staff - The position's grade and salary range will be detailed on the Job Description and include a performance range. Appointments will be made within the range depending on qualifications and experience for the role.
