
The Recreation Centre offers access to a variety of sporting activities and equipment for you to participate in, get fit or have some fun.
Students can access the sports court and equipment at no charge, weekdays from 9am-5pm. On occasion, we offer free classes. See the timetable below.
Becoming a member of the Centre will allow you to have extra access to things such as:
- Weights
- Exercise machines
- Circuit classes
- Zumba classes (extra charges apply)
- Yoga and pilates classes (extra charges apply)
- Badminton
- Social sports competitions held throughout the year
Personal trainers are on site and you can book a session with them to help with your training needs. (Please note: there is a charge for this service)
The Centre is also equipped with showers and lockers for your use.
Membership rates are very reasonable.
Becoming a member
You can get a membership form at Information and Enrolments (X Block). Once filled in and the correct fee paid, you will need to visit the Security Desk who will add gym access to your Student ID Card.
If you are a member of the public, the Security Desk will make you an ID card, once you have filled in your form and paid the correct fee at Information and Enrolments (X Block).
Renewing your membership
Renewing membership can all be done at Information and Enrolments (X Block) and the process is very similar to applying.

Hours
- Monday to Friday - 6:30am to 9pm
- Saturday - 8am to 4pm
Please note: during term time there will be some restricted access due to teaching but members will be advised in advance.
Fees
Prices will range depending on the period of time you are a member at the centre. You can pay for three months, six months or for the year.
- Student: $49 for three months, $99 for six months and $149 for one year.
- Staff: $59 for three months, $129 for six months and $199 for one year.
- Public: $79 for three months, $149 for six months and $279 for one year.
You can pay by cash or EFTPOS.
