CareerHub

The Career Centre assists students and graduates by providing information about a range of employment opportunities via CareerHub, CPIT's web based job management system.

CareerHub brings casual, part time, temporary and fulltime job opportunities to your desktop, as well as articles on career planning and job hunting, links to helpful websites, upcoming career seminars, workshops and other events of interest.

  • CareerHub for students and staff: all CPIT students, graduates and staff can register on CareerHub.To register and log on you can use your CPIT username and password.
  • CareerHub for employers: employers can advertise jobs for free to CPIT students and graduates. To register and log on, please visit the Employers CareerHub.

Career information and resources

If you are deciding on career and study options, it is important to get the right information to make your decisions. We have a great range of useful career information and resources that you can access.

Come in and browse through our resources including:

  • Career Voyage: a computer program that relates a person's interests to occupations and gives information about those occupations. This process takes one hour and is guided by a Career Counsellor. To use this program, please make an appointment or visit us on Thursdays between 9am and noon.
  • Information on careers and training: we ensure we have up to date prospectuses of all the main tertiary providers throughout NZ and have access to the internet available so clients can source information about occupations, training, and employment trends from websites such as Careers New Zealand.
  • Career related books and videos available for clients to read and view.
  • CareerWise handouts: printed versions of the following which will assist you with career planning and getting the job;
