CPIT Trades Innovation Institute offers a range of part time trade courses, including:

DIY Motor Body Restoration

These courses have been designed for hobby car and motor cycle enthusiasts who want to gain the skills to be able to do their own bodywork repairs and painting.

Electrical Trades

CPIT Trades Innovation Institute offers training for Electrical Service Technicians and Inspectors Training for registered electricians.

Furniture Making

Learn the practical skills for furniture construction and have the opportunity to make your own item of furniture.

Welding - Arc, Gas, TIG & MIG

These courses are mostly practical, using industry standard equipment. Courses are designed so that Stage 1 is suitable for beginners with little or no previous welding experience, and Stage 2 & 3 courses building on experience gained.

Woodturning

Learn to use woodturning equipment and progress to between centre (spindle) turning and shallow faceplate turning, laminating and laminating turning.
