Bachelor of Information and Communication Technologies
Level: 7 - This is an applied qualification that focuses on all aspects of the information systems cycle. You will gain the skills to analyse, design, develop, implement and maintain information systems across a variety of organisations. You may also choose to study an elective stream in one of four fields and gain specialised skills that are highly sought after by industry.
The elective streams are: Programming, Multimedia, eCommerce and, Data Communications and Networking. An industry based project in the final year of the BICT will allow you to "put into action" the knowledge, skills and understanding you have gained throughout the degree to solve real world problems. This project also provides an excellent platform for you to launch your career in the ICT industry.
Certificate in Information Technology
Level: 5 - If you want employers to know that you are right on top of new technology, the CertIT will give you a range of skills necessary to get the most out of personal computers for business applications.
This involves the hands on use of software applications, operating systems and IT tools. You'll also learn about the Internet, how it works, important resources available on the world wide web and gain an introduction to the creation of web pages.
Certificate in Systems Administration
Level: 6 - If you have experience working in the ICT/computing industry and are serious about seeking advanced skills (and a salary to match), the Certificate in Systems Administration will give you expert skills that are recognised internationally and sought after industry wide.
The Certificate in Systems Administration incorporates the official Microsoft courseware, useful if you wish to do examinations that lead to the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) which has replaced the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
The programme provides the knowledge and skills required to analyse business requirements and design, implement and support Microsoft networks and systems, in a wide range of client and server environments.
Diploma in Information and Communication Technology
Level: 6 - The first year of the Diploma in ICT provides a broad grounding in the core aspects of information and communications technology including database design and management, the Internet, programming skills, operating systems and IT Tools. At the same time you will gain personal and business skills that will make you an effective communicator, team player and valued employee. Further on in the programme you may focus your studies and gain in-depth skills in one of three areas including: Programming, Systems Support or Web Technologies/Multimedia.

Level: 7 - The Graduate Diploma in ICT is designed to meet the needs of graduates from a variety of disciplines who do not possess the specific skills necessary to work in ICT industries, but who have already demonstrated the ability to perform at a significant academic level. The programme includes courses from a wide range of ICT related disciplines with the mix of subjects enabling you to specialise in eCommerce Development or Network Administration.
