A passion for drawing and art meant that Simon Kennedy always knew that he would be interested in graphic design. It wasn’t until he left school, however, that he was able to pursue his artistic passion.
“I think the real strengths of the foundation programme are the thorough introduction it gives to the areas you can pursue at degree level. The foundation course has a real creative vibe, and changed my own perceptions of what good art/design should or could be. An anything goes approach is encouraged in a really fun and supportive class atmosphere.”
“I was lucky enough to be awarded two scholarships in 2007 and 2008 and I was thrilled to have some work exhibited and sold at the “Sculpture in the Park exhibition.”
I am really excited at the career prospects ahead of me – I have so many choices and opportunities to succeed as an artist and to do further study. All of this is down to the things I have learned at CPIT and the encouragement that I received along the way.”
