Skiing has always been a passion of James Kingscote and the 16 week
programme at CPIT offered the formal training and internationally
recognised qualification that he was after.
James is currently working as a Ski instructor in the United States.
He worked the 2005 winter season at Treble Cone Skifield in Wanaka
following a season as an instructor at Park City Mountain Resort in
Utah. "In terms of the CPIT programme, I really enjoyed the one-on-one and
group training sessions; they definitely helped me to become a better
skier. "The trainers were great, they have years of experience and are New
Zealand examiners so they are able to prepare you really well for your
exams. Their teaching style was really friendly and relaxed." "If anyone was thinking of doing the same course at CPIT and asked
me for advice I would tell them to get out there, enjoy everything you
do, stay positive and have a good time!
