International Programme
If you're doing a Diploma in Business from Wuxi City College of Vocational Technology (WCCVT) in association with Jiangnan University, you have an opportunity to do your final year of study at CPIT.
Path of Study
A typical path of study for this international programme is:
- Year One - you enrol with Wuxi City College and study the first year of the Diploma at the Wuxi City Campus.
- Year Two - the second year of study is completed at the Jiangnan University campus in Wuxi. During this year, you can study six subjects agreed to by CPIT and Jiangnan University's School of Business. These subjects will be taught and examined mainly in English, using English language textbooks. Whilst at Jiangnan University, you will also study English language.
- Year Three - If you achieve IELTS 6.0 (Academic) in all sub tests and pass three or more of the year two Diploma subjects studied at Jiangnan University, you can apply for admission into CPIT's Diploma in Business. You must pass a total of twelve recognised courses studied at Jiangnan University and CPIT to be eligible for CPIT's New Zealand Diploma in Business. The CPIT qualification will be awarded at a CPIT graduation ceremony in Christchurch.
If you are successful in your studies at CPIT, you may apply to enrol in CPIT's business/management or IT bachelor degree programmes. Your IELTS (Academic) score and the number of Diploma credits you pass determine which CPIT programme you can enrol in.
On successful completion of this 3 year programme, you will receive a CPIT New Zealand Diploma in Business and a Diploma in Business from WCCVT.
The Jiangsu Department of Education approved this international joint education arrangement in May 2006.
The Chinese Service Centre for Scholarly Exchange ('CSCSE') is authorised by Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China to recognise qualifications resulting from Sino-Foreign joint programmes. The CSCSE recognises CPIT on their website.

International Students from the New Zealand College of Business
Students who succesfully graduate from the New Zealand College of Business in Christchurch with the Diploma in Business Administration Level 5 are eligible to apply for entry into the Bachelor of Applied Management at CPIT.
