Note: For students that need a visa approved, your Offer of Place can be used for your application.
Contact us to confirm that you accept the offer, pay for the tuition fees, book your accommodation and we will send you an official receipt, an offer of place and confirmation of accommodation arrangements (please make sure you understand our refund policy for international students before you pay for the fees). Please refer to the Pre-Departure Guide for additional information.
Apply for your student visa on campust (if you are in NZ) or at Immigration New Zealand (INZ), with your receipt and offer of place
Make your travel arrangements to Christchurch, book your accommodation and airport pick up with CPIT and prepare for your departure to New Zealand. Please advise International Admissions of your arrangements as soon as possible.
When you arrive at CPIT please remember to bring your passport with you to the Information and Enrolments counter in the Rakaia Centre on Madras street to complete your enrolment process. It is important that yo do this before starting class.
All CPIT mainstream programmes have academic entry requiremetns and English Language requirements. Students from non English speaking backgrounds must provide evidence of their English ability. This must be an accepted English Language test or evidence of their previous study in English. Specific entry and English requirements are listed in the Programme Listing.
