CPIT is committed to working with the industries, professions and communities we serve. One way of achieving this is through Programme Advisory Committees or Consultation Networks.
The role of our advisory committees is vital in providing input into how CPIT qualifications meet industry demands for relevant skills. These groups provide insight into what is required to prepare our students to contribute in the workplace.
Each CPIT programme is supported by a group whose size and composition varies according to the needs of that programme. The Chair appointed by the group is usually external to the Institution. Most groups include student or former student representation, as well as staff representatives.
Our Advisory Committees cover areas such as outdoor education, fashion, science, nursing, adult education and construction.
CPIT is grateful for the support of the Advisory Group members and appreciates their input throughout the year.
