Tony says that he has, “always been interested in Art and Design as a whole, I enjoy the creative aspect of the field of Design and I wanted to become a successful graphic designer." He knew the Arts and Design School offered exactly the course he wanted, "it was the first place I looked at and didn’t really have any second thoughts, it was spot on.”
Tony enjoys the challenges that come with project work; “ I enjoy solving problems and trying to brainstorm ideas to solve/create/design new meanings, it’s a little frustrating at times but when you see the results it’s an awesome feeling. Tutors are helpful, always have time to answer your questions about [the] course. They always try to provide a creative and fun environment of study.”
Asked what he would say if he had to chose only one reason to study at CPIT, Tony answered; “ The quality and standard of learning at CPIT is what I enjoy and benefit from the most, push your limits, go beyond your comfort zone and you’ll find what you’re capable of (I learnt that from CPIT).”
Tony wants to be a successful graphic designer, run his own business and generally develop new ideas to take graphic design to the next level. His learning at CPIT will equip him well for that goal.
