About English

English, as well as being one of New Zealand's three official languages (with Māori and Sign language), is the international language of commerce, of many world organisations, and one of the official languages of the European Union. It is the most widely spoken language in the world and the third most common natively spoken language (after Mandarin and Spanish).

Studying English

We provide English courses for:

Domestic students for whom English is not their first language
International students who have come to New Zealand to study
Teachers of English language

In addition to teaching English, we also operate an IELTS Examination Centre offering regular examination dates.
