Interior design

As a residential interior designer, you will devise aesthetic and functional solutions suited to new residential buildings as well as remodelling existing interiors.

You will be responsible for space planning and surface design elements and will also be concerned with human interaction within the space and to ensure that your designs comply with regulatory and contractual requirements.

Interior décor

Working as an interior décor consultant you will plan and implement schemes for the interiors of residential homes.

With a focus on the décor and furnishings of a space, you will be responsible for the appearance of the space and bringing out the client's own style in their environment through aesthetics.

Studying interior design and décor

CPIT's interior décor and interior design programmes will provide you with relevant, up-to-date skills and methods. You will be given a mix of theoretical and practical activities and assignments, which will lead you to a realistic, work-focused qualification.
