The School of Applied Sciences and Allied Health offers a variety of programmes and courses leading to qualifications and careers in science, technology and health.
Our tutors have the industry connections, diverse skill sets and the experience to guide your learning. There is a strong emphasis on practical work with clinical and work placements a key to many learning experiences. Staff teaching on our degree programmes have a strong research culture and this expertise underpins the teaching within the school.

Our laboratories have the key equipment that you will use in the workplace. We ensure our science and biological laboratories are at the cutting edge with purpose built facilities including:
- Advanced instrumentation for chemical analysis
- Animal science diagnostic x-rays with animal room facilities
- Sports science and health laboratories (including The Zone high performance health and wellness clinic)
- Viper medical imaging virtual suite
- Clinical practice suite for Midwifery.
Industry and community
CPIT works closely with businesses, institutions and organisations in engineering, information technologies and sciences to create internships, work experience placements and relevant research projects.
