
Regalia hired for graduation is supplied by the Federation of Graduate Women. Check your graduation guide for collection details. Your guide will be posted to you once your application to graduate has been received.
There are penalties for late or non return of regalia. A $20 deposit is required. Non return of items means you will be charged at replacement cost.
A black Cambridge style gown is to be worn under all Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology graduation colours.
The sleeves on the Cambridge gown have two openings. Undergraduates (certificates/diplomas) wear the gown with arms through the lower opening. Degree graduands (and graduates receiving diplomas) wear the gown with their arms through the upper opening.

The degree hood incorporates the CPIT scarf. The hood is worn with the stole sitting on the shoulders and the hood hanging down the wearer's back.
Each Degree hood lining is an individual colour denoting the degree content.
