In this highly practical, skill based programme, students will study in one of three streams - digital film and television production, radio or broadcast journalism. Radio students run a commercial format radio station; in journalism students contribute news bulletins to the radio station and for television news. For TV, students produce music videos, promotions, documentary or drama and news bulletins with the journalism students. Students will also complete a six month industry internship.

Executive Option

This option is for industry practitioners. It provides you with advanced professional competencies in applied theoretical areas and high level of practical skills. You will also be prepared for future challenges in the broadcasting and communications industries, in New Zealand and internationally, and have appropriate academic skills should you wish to pursue postgraduate study.
