Human Resources Administrator

Are you recently graduated or looking for a new direction with a role in Human Resources administration?

We are excited to offer you a great place to start.

Working as one of a team of 3 administrators your key focus will be in providing a friendly and effective reception service for our customers, and supporting the administration needs of the HR/Payroll Division.

To undertake this role you are likely to have enjoyed studying or have an interest/experience in HR and be able to demonstrate strong aptitude for administrative tasks and relationship building.

Project Administrator

Fixed Term for 12 months

CPIT is in the process of moving from the current Jade-based student administration database to a new integrated student management system (SMS). This move brings with it an exciting opportunity for a Project Administrator to apply their knowledge and skills to contribute to bringing this project to fruition.

The role involves providing effective and efficient administrative support and secretarial services. The tasks are diverse and the scope of the role also includes undertaking testing of the SMS, as well as providing support for the delivery of training.

Great customer service skills, experience in project administration and an extensive administration background are a must. You’ll be an expert user of the Microsoft Office 2010 package and will have excellent writing and documentation skills along with proven time management skills. Your enthusiasm and positive, proactive approach to work will make you a stand-out candidate.

Refugee and Migrant Students Advisor

Are you familiar with the needs of NESB migrant and refugee students as they settle in to living in New Zealand?

CPIT is committed to providing both academic support and pastoral care for migrant and refugee students.  The dedicated International Student Support team is responsible for ensuring that our students from non English speaking backgrounds are provided with appropriate support services to assist with their chosen studies at CPIT and life in Christchurch.

This part-time position is your chance to use your problem solving skills and to provide culturally sensitive and appropriate support for a diverse group of people.
